Overlay Closes After Opening

The overlay opens but closes by itself after a few seconds

This issue is usually caused by Windows Defender or exclusive mode compatibility problems.

  • The overlay opens successfully but closes by itself after a few seconds

  • The overlay crashes shortly after loading

arrow-up-rightStep 2: Load in Borderless Mode

If the overlay keeps crashing, you may have compatibility issues with exclusive mode. Follow these steps to load in borderless mode:1

Open the Loader

Launch the loader and log in with your email.2

Click Load and Immediately Switch Focus

Click on Load, then immediately switch focus to another window (e.g., File Explorer). Do this before the overlay opens.3

Wait for the Overlay

Wait for the overlay to open while your focus is on the other window.4

Verify Borderless Mode

Check that the overlay is running in Borderless mode.5

Focus the Overlay

Close the other window (File Explorer) and click on the overlay with your left mouse button to give it focus.6

Try Switching to Exclusive Mode

Press Alt + Tab twice to try switching to Exclusive mode.

  • If the overlay crashes, you need to keep it in Borderless mode

  • If it doesn’t crash, you’re good to go in Exclusive mode

Some systems are not compatible with exclusive mode. If the overlay crashes when switching, simply use borderless mode instead.
