Step 1: Disable Windows Virus Protection & Remove Antivirus
Important:
All antivirus and security protections must be disabled or removed before continuing. Temporarily disabling options is not sufficient unless stated.

This disables the Windows Security antivirus layer before permanently disabling Defender.
Steps:
Press Windows Key → search Windows Security
Open Virus & Threat Protection
Click Manage settings
Turn OFF:
Real-time protection
Cloud-delivered protection
Automatic sample submission
Tamper Protection
⚠️ Tamper Protection must be OFF or Defender cannot be permanently disabled.
B. Remove Third-Party Antivirus Software
Fully uninstall any third-party antivirus software, including (but not limited to):
Norton
Avast
McAfee
Malwarebytes
Kaspersky
Bitdefender
After uninstalling, restart your PC.
C. Permanently Disable Windows Defender Using DControl
Windows Defender must be fully disabled at the service and policy level.
