Before Injecting

System Preparation Guide

Step 1: Disable Windows Virus Protection & Remove Antivirus

Important: All antivirus and security protections must be disabled or removed before continuing. Temporarily disabling options is not sufficient unless stated.

A. Disable Windows Virus & Threat Protection (Windows Settings)

This disables the Windows Security antivirus layer before permanently disabling Defender.

Steps:

  1. Press Windows Key → search Windows Security

  2. Open Virus & Threat Protection

  3. Click Manage settings

  4. Turn OFF:

    • Real-time protection

    • Cloud-delivered protection

    • Automatic sample submission

    • Tamper Protection

⚠️ Tamper Protection must be OFF or Defender cannot be permanently disabled.

B. Remove Third-Party Antivirus Software

Fully uninstall any third-party antivirus software, including (but not limited to):

  • Norton

  • Avast

  • McAfee

  • Malwarebytes

  • Kaspersky

  • Bitdefender

After uninstalling, restart your PC.

C. Permanently Disable Windows Defender Using DControl

Windows Defender must be fully disabled at the service and policy level.

Instructions:

  1. Download D control (for a full guide + Download link visit this page Disable Windows Defender - Dcontrol)

  2. Open DControl as Administrator

  3. Select Disable Windows Defender

  4. Confirm Defender services are stopped

Tool Details:

  • Tool: DControl

  • Password: sordum

⚠️ Disabling Defender only through Windows Settings is not enough. DControl ensures Defender is disabled system-wide.

Once Windows antivirus, third-party antivirus, and Windows Defender are fully disabled, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Install Required Runtimes (Visual C++)

To allow proper communication with Windows, Visual C++ runtimes are required.

We recommend installing Visual C++ AIO Runtimes, which installs all required versions automatically.

Driver-based software requires exploit protections to be set to default.

  1. Press Windows Key → search Exploit Protection

  2. Open Exploit Protection

  3. Set every option to Use Default

Step 4: Disable Required Security Protections

The following must be disabled:

  • Virtualization-Based Security (VBS)

Check status:

  • Press Win + R → type msinfo32
